Hard to believe, but next week T and I will be celebrating the end of our first year in Western North Carolina. Three of those months were as interns with H & M, and nine were in our rental on S & S’s farm. Here’s what it looked like, from one vantage point, in a nutshell:

What a nice collection of photos. I’m glad you thought to get so many through the seasons. When you click on each photo, it enlarges enough to see that glorious color in the fall shots.
Yay! A comment from Mom! Glad you liked the photos. I feel lucky I was able to capture not only the slow seasonal change, but also some of the more ephemeral moments, like the fog, rainbow, and morning sun making the new spring leaves glow from behind.
Congratulations on your one-year anniversary! It looks like a beautiful place to be.
